How Do I Get a Hunting License?

After hours services are available by appointment only until 7pm Monday-Friday.
Where do I get a dog license and do I need one every year?
You obtain the dog license from the Town Clerk’s office. You must license your dog every year in June.

How do I obtain a Marriage License and what is the fee?
You must apply for a marriage license from the town clerk in the town you are to be married in. The marriage license costs $50.00. Both parties must come in person and have proof of identity (driver’s license etc.)
The original license will be filed in the Town Clerk's Office. You may purchase a certified copy of your license for an additional $20 fee

Is there a Notary in Town Hall and is there a fee?
There is a notary in the Town Clerk’s office and Building Department. There is no fee for Durham residents and a $5.00 fee for non-residents. The Town Clerk's Office WILL NOT notarize a Last Will and Testament, I9 forms, or anything to be filed on the Durham Land Records
