LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF DURHAM
NOVEMBER 1ST FILING DEADLINE
PURSUANT TO CONNECTICUT GENERAL STATUTES SEC 12-40
Owners and lessees of all tangible personal property located in the Town of Durham as of October 1, 2023 must file Personal Property Declarations in the Assessor’s Office on or before November 1, 2023. Declarations, extension requests, and exemption applications are available on the Town website and in the Assessor’s Office.
Tangible personal property includes, but is not limited to, UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLES, MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT OF COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BUSINESSES, FARM MACHINERY, BUSINESS COMPUTERS/COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, OFFICE FURNITURE & FIXTURES, LEASEHOLD IMPROVEMENTS, etc. Failure to file will result in a penalty per CGS Sec 12-41.
