Durham Municipal Election 11-7-23

The Registrars’ Office is open on Wednesdays 9:00am to 11:00am or you may register at the Durham Town Hall, Town Clerks office (see Town Hall hours below). You may also request the Registrar of Voters send you a mail-in voter registration form or print one from The town of Durham website.

October 31, 2023–9:00am – 8:00pm – All day registration and in-person cut-off to register for the November 7th “Municipal Election” – Cut off is 8:00pm for in-person, 11:59pm deadline for online (a DMV license is required) and mail-in registration must be postmarked by October 31, 2023. November 6, 2023 – 9:00am – 5:00pm - Limited Registration Session to admit those seeking to vote in election whose qualification as to age, citizenship or residence was attained since October 31, 2023. The above sessions will be held at:

Individuals may register and vote in person on Election Day if they meet the eligibility requirements for voting in this state and are (1) not already an elector or (2) registered in one municipality but want to
change their registration because they currently reside in another municipality. By law, a person is eligible to register and vote if they are (1) a U.S. citizen, (2) age 18 or older, and (3) a bona fide resident of the municipality in which they apply for admission as an elector.

Curbside voting will be available at the polls on election day for voters with disabilities.
The Registrars of Voters STRONGLY urge Durham residents who are not registered to vote, to register as early as possible before November 7, 2023. You may register online at the Connecticut Secretary of States Website. Also, please visit our website for election information and forms. A copy of the ballot will also be on the Durham Registrar of Voters website
