This program focuses on individual training in a group setting. Considerations for all levels noting personal strengths and limitations for a Total Body Workout! You’ll Love It!

YOUTH RECREATION BASKETBALL
Youth Basketball Registration Form 
Students in grades K-8 living in Durham or Middlefield. 
Games will be played on Saturday at the student's schedule time and place. 
Students will learn the fundamentals of the game.  

Registration Info:

  • Registration will be held at the town hall tuesday October 16th, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
  • You must register by Friday November 23rd so that we may organize gym time with other recreation events.
  • After this date there will be a late fee of $25.00. You may register anytime with the town clerk’s office. 
  • You may mail in your registration form.
  • Games will be played on Saturday at the student’s schedule time and place.
  • Cost: $50.00 per student. Family max $110.00 dollars

BRIDGE CLASS
All adults welcome to join Jim in learning and playing Bridge.  The class will be held at the Durham Activity Center starting in October. Classes will meet on Friday evenings.  We will learn, play, and have fun.  Refreshments are welcome. No Fee. Program is on going, join in at anytime.

KNITTING NIGHT! 
Would you like to make new friends and help people in need at the same time?  Bring your needles and your yarn.   We welcome all levels of experienced crafters.  We meet at DAC 350 Main Street, 2nd Floor, starting in October (first Wednesday's of the month thru March).
Warm Up America blankets:  knit or crochet squares (7"w x9" l) or strips (7"w x 63" l) - prefer strips.
Baby Blankets:  any pattern of your choice
Chemo caps: children, womens rolled brim, womens female eyelet, womens floppy brim , adult male (1) , adult male (2)
Lap blankets:  for nursing homes - use Prayer Shawl pattern

DURHAM ADULT IDOL CONTEST

Please join the recreation committee in this fun event. Can you sing? Would you like to be crowned the first Adult Durham Idol? If you would like to participate in this fun contest, please fill out the form below and send to Recreation by march 1st. Auditions will be held at the Durham Activity Center on Tuesday March 11th and Thursday March 13th from 5pm-7pm. Other audition dates may be added. The show will be held Saturday April 6th at the Durham Activity Center from 1:00pm-on. Two categories will be offered. Adult ages 18-55, and adult 56 and older.
