First Annual Fall Appeal The Coginchaug Regional High School Scholarship Fund is recognized by the communities of Durham and Middlefield for our efforts in raising funds which will assist our young people with their educational pursuits. In order to accomplish this, we are a nonprofit organization, totally staffed by student and adult volunteers from the community. The results of our fund-raising efforts each year culminate in the Awards Ceremony held at the high school in June, when we present scholarships to the graduating class of Coginchaug students. Our main fundraising events, which are well established and popular, include operating the Chocolate Covered Banana Booth at the Durham Fair each year, a golf tournament and The Annual Scholarship Ball which is held in March. |

The organization includes 18 adult members (board of Directors) with terms of 3 years each, not including the elected officers. There are also 12 directors from the student body of CRHS, with 3 students appointed from each class. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month (except December when no meeting is held) at the high school. |
