Town Charter, Section 5-3 and Sections 12-40 to 12-121 of the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut and additional appropriate statutes.

Powers and
Duties: |
The board shall meet for the purpose of hearing appeals related to the assessment of motor vehicles, and hear appeals related to the assessment of property. All other powers and duties are listed in the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut.

Property Appeals
The Board of Assessment Appeals will meet on the dates listed below to hear appeals on property assessment applications. All appointments will be regarding cases filed by the deadline of February 20, 2009. No walk-in appeals can be heard. All meetings will take place at the Durham Town Hall, Main Street, Durham.
