Powers and Duties: |
Analyze services and programs available for town's Senior citizens. Exchange information with the State of Connecticut's Commission on Aging. Apply to the state and/or public agencies for assistance in planning/coordinating services/programs for town's seniors. Receive gifts and grants and administer same for the benefit of town's seniors in accordance with terms of ordinance. Conduct programs for the benefit of the town's senior citizens to include but not be limited to travel, subsidized food services, etc. |
